- Blepharoplasty
A 60-year-old female presented seeking comprehensive facial rejuvenation. Her primary aesthetic concerns included brow ptosis (drooping brows), prominent under-eye bags (lower lid fat pseudoherniation), and significant facial and neck laxity with excess skin (dermatochalasis). She specifically wanted to address a heavy lower face and poorly defined jawline.
Surgical Approach:
Dr. Harbison performed a comprehensive surgical plan addressing the upper, mid, and lower face simultaneously. An endoscopic brow lift and transconjunctival lower lid blepharoplasty were performed to restore a rested, youthful appearance to the upper face without visible external lower eyelid scars.
Simultaneously, a power deep plane facelift and deep plane neck lift were executed to address the severe lower facial laxity. A critical component of this procedure was the advanced deep submental work—including targeted fat contouring and submandibular gland reduction. This deep-structural approach is essential for patients requiring maximum refinement under the chin.
Results & Recovery:
Shown at 3 months post-operative. The combination of deep neck contouring and the deep plane lift has yielded a dramatically sharper cervicomental angle and a crisp, well-defined jawline. The patient’s eyes appear refreshed and naturally elevated without looking "pulled." While she looks excellent at 3 months, subtle deep-tissue refinement will continue to improve over the first year.
Location:
Procedure performed at our Omaha Face AAAASF-accredited surgical suite.
