A 50-year-old female presented seeking to refresh her eye area and address an aging, fatigued appearance caused by redundant upper eyelid skin (dermatochalasis). Examination revealed excellent baseline anatomy: her brow position was naturally stable, and her underlying upper eyelid contour was youthful and balanced. She did not require a brow lift or structural repositioning, making her an ideal candidate for isolated upper eyelid rejuvenation.

Surgical Approach:
Dr. Harbison performed an isolated upper blepharoplasty to precisely excise the excess skin folds while preserving her native lid shape and natural crease. Because the correction focused strictly on cutaneous redundancy without the need for deep orbital fat removal or bone alteration, the procedure was performed comfortably under local anesthesia in less than one hour, eliminating the downtime and side effects associated with IV sedation or general anesthesia.

Results & Recovery:
Shown at 3 months post-operative. The patient exhibits an open, awake, and refreshed appearance, with fine incisions resting imperceptibly within the natural supratarsal fold. By respecting her native brow height and eyelid architecture, Dr. Harbison restored crisp eyelid definition without producing an over-excised, hollowed, or "pulled" look.
