- Rhinoplasty
A 55-year-old female presented seeking revision rhinoplasty to address a residual dorsal hump, a wide nasal bridge, and poor tip projection from a previous procedure.
Surgical Approach:
Dr. Harbison performed an open revision rhinoplasty utilizing an autologous costal (rib) cartilage graft to reconstruct structural tip support. Lateral osteotomies were performed to narrow the nasal bones, followed by conservative reduction of the bony and cartilaginous dorsal hump to achieve a smooth, natural profile. Also rim grafts were used to reduce alar notching and decrease columellar
Results & Recovery:
Shown at 3 months post-operative. The patient exhibits improved profile balance, reinforced tip support, and preserved breathing function. Residual tip swelling will continue to refine over the next 9 to 12 months.
Location:
Procedure performed at our Omaha Face AAAASF-accredited surgical suite.
